The core of the guild consists of a bunch of RL friendly players which game and have fun together. We started playing WoW three years ago and have made a lot of friendships so far. We care for our Real Life above everything else, so we stick to 5man instances and 10man raids when our schedule allows it. We are casual players who like to enjoy this game and make worth of the time spent on it.

Guild Code of Conduct
Our guild exists to help its members have more fun playing WoW. Regardless of any Guild Rules outlined below the spirit of the Guild is that of friendship, communication, helpfullness and fun. The point of being in Valley T for major city is not to storm up in progression chart, get epics fast so we don’t go emo, silently power level to 70 or to l33t speak abuse to everyone.
If you want to do those things then Valley T is not for you.

How much you can play has no bearing on anything. You do whatever you like. Just keep in mind that most of us are busy people and don't have the luxury to play every day. If you can then lucky you - if you can't then it will not affect your guild standing, rank or how much we want to /hug you.

The principles that we and those that wants to join us will need to follow are quite simple:

Valley T is not a raiding guild
We are not a raiding guild, this means that we don’t have commitments with this game. We don’t have to be online x days per week x hours per raiding night to get some bosses down. However, we still do heroics and 10man raids and if you are in we expect you to give the best you have to give, be focused and be prepared and listen to what others have to say. Continued failure to do so will most likely end in a guild removal.

No Drama
We dont want any griefers nor any drama queens in the guild. If you have a problem with anyone else in the guild try to resolve it by talking to that person (in private please) yourself before you involve Counselors.
We don't want spamming or scamming players.

No DKP
The loot will be distributed by Counselors and it will be done by a few simple parameters, Need before greed and we will look at who will stand to gain most from the upgrade, as well as where the upgrade will benefit the guild the most. Although Counselors are the ones who give the final word, loot distribution can be friendly discussed between the raid members so that everyone comes to an agreement. Also, members will always have precedence over applicants which means that if an applicant goes for an item that a member is going for, then its defaulted to the member.
Note: this goes only for 10man raids.

AFK's
Repeated "Ninja afks" during raids can, and will be grounds for guildremoval. If you need to afk, put /afk tag on, tell in raid/guild etc. There is no problem in needing to go afk. RL is more important than WoW.
If you need to be offline for several days for any reason there’s no problem at all, just try to post on AFK section so we all know what is happening.

Dedication!
If you play badly, don’t know your class etc, guild members will talk with you and if possible try to help you improve. Make sure you are not too proud so you can’t listen to what others have to say or follow orders if necessary.

Help your guildmates
We strongly encourage in-guild grouping whenever possible, as well as helping others with tradeskills etc.

Guild Chat
As we are all adults, guildchat is usualy quite graphic. At the same time, we dont like leet speak, so keep that out of guild/group chat. Just keep it clean and soft -> Valley T style!
